Sugar Lips

So we all know that yesterday was Valentine's Day or as some of my friends like to call it "Single Awareness Day".

Anyway . . . last night at about 7:30 someone rang the doorbell and ran so when we opened the door no one was there but there were cupcakes on the door step for the boys.   And as much as I love them and despite all their begging I was not about to let them have a cupcake at bed time.

Because some how I knew that eating this . . .

 . . . would result in this.

 And just so you know, I could kiss that face all day long.

We made cookies the other day and I remembered why we don't make sugar cookies very often. a) they are messy and b) they are time consuming. But they turned out great and everybody appreciated the effort.

Let's see . . reflecting on the things I love.

I love God, love the life He has given me, both the trials and the triumphs, I love my husband, I love my boys, l love my family and I love my friends.

I said to HT, "Today is valentines day, do you know what that means?"

"Yes, it means Grandma's coming!" (Oops, sorry to disappoint, he loves his Grandma, they will talk on the phone and "play together".)

"No it means we honor those we love, who do you love?"

"Um . . . Tammy and Isabella, just those two girls, that's all"

Hum. I was hoping he would say he loved me, oh, well.
