Early in 2006 Charming's parents came to me and told me there was going to be a baby in the house!
See, Charming's mama was 42 years old and Charming's papa was 38. When they got married, they didn't really think they would have a child. But they said, "What the hell" and threw away the birth control and said "if it happens, it happens, but if not that's okay too".
So, started a wonderful journey that culminated in October when Charming arrived. Along the way there were incredible happenings. The first time she felt him move, his first ultrasound, watching him turn over and make her belly move, watching as Charming had the hiccups and made her belly jump.
Here are the first pictures of him, first from the outside, and then when he was still on the inside, he even seemed to be smiling!
I suppose I should tell you how he came to be named Charming. His mama & papa were struggling with names, family names, a name all his own, a combination? What should it be. Well, one day I was speaking with a client who had happened to change her name legally to Cinderella. It just struck me as so funny that I came home that night and told his parents he was going to be Charming, they could throw Prince in as his first name if they wanted. :) Okay, okay, so they didn't name him Charming, but I still call him that.
Well, the time came and Charming was born. Here are his first pictures in the real world.
As you can see he's the cutest baby born this century! I'll add more later and I'm sure by the time I'm through, this site will be a mass of Charming's pictures. Who knows, maybe I'll even get Charming's mama or papa to blog!
Thanks to Charming's cousin Jacqui for pushing me into this wonderful idea.

Cute cute pictures of your little Prince. He's even more charming in person. Welcome to parenting, Syd and Travis!
I agree that no only is he the cutest baby of the century but the most *charming* also.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!
What wonderful news, and a Charming baby, indeed! I can definitely see the Faber in him; he's adorable! Be sure to let Mama know that I certainly DO NOT think she's too old to be a parent; just ask my 23-month old daughter! I will quibble about the cutest-baby-of-the-century title, though. Can we just call it a tie?! ;-) Hugs and kisses and many blessings to all. xoxoxo, Jane and Jason and Sarah
