Jack-O-Lantern
So a week ago last Sunday Grandma and Grandpa bought HT a pumpkin and he insisted that they carve it before they left last Monday and he was very specific about how he wanted it. Notice if you will please the hands drawn on the pumpkin with the fingers in the corners of the mouth. He thought it was hysterical and that's all that matters really.
Except. . . .
It's too early to be carving pumpkins if you want them glowing on your porch Halloween night and this one is already starting to "grow" if you know what I mean, so how do I tell my little man that its time to throw it in the trash?
Auntie bought him another small one, but it is too small to carve really.
So what's a mother to do?

It looks so cute. It is a shame it might not make it until Halloween.
His smile is huge and adorable!!!
FYI A query letter is one you send to an agent in order to try and woo them into representing you to a publishing company. I guess it's super important because usually you only get one first impression and they blast through like a thousand a day.... Daunting.... :O)
Cute! I say, let it last and use it on Halloween. The "growth" effect will teach him about science and it fits with the "scary" motif. BTW, our kids LOVED the glow sticks and have been playing w/them nonstop. They call them their "light savers."
Both your pumpkins are adorable, but it looks like you're going to have to get another for Halloween. :-( Sorry.
